Bit of a rarity hereabouts, we saw this one out near the Sacramento Delta, where there are often some different species, being different terrain and perhaps a different flyway from our hilly coastal stuff. Note squareish panels in the wings, lack of dark markings at the patagials ("wrists"), light-colored head...
