Rings of Fire
Afa Thompson, Champion Fire-Knife Dancer, Samoan prince, and High School classmate.
His parents own and opperate a world famous Polyenian entertainment company called Tihati. At the Punahou Alumni Luau, Afa and his company graciously gave an amazing performance including Afa doing this captivating fire-knife dance.
Always a crowd pleaser... and yet difficult to photograph... Afa had the crowd in the palm of his hands.

Digital photography is also a great asset allowing me to experiment, catch the action, finding the right moment. Of course, much of it I must admit, is by chance. |
