A friend took me on a real kayak adventure. We paddled about five miles up river from where Janey and I were camping to tiny island in the middle of the Susquehanna. The island has a number of ancient native rock carvings. They are all quite worn and some vandalized but it was exciting. I have a bit of native blood and felt it could be the work of some of my ancestors.
