Ziggy has now gone to a squirrel/wildlife sanctuary, where he immediately snuggled up with another 8 week old baby boy squirrel.
All credit goes to my friend and her son (who rescued him from the lake) I did little more than allow him to sleep up my sleeve and take photos of him.
A very kind man collected ziggy as he was taking a pigeon that he had been caring for.
Both the squirrel and the pigeon would be 'put to sleep' by the vets (as is the law) if it wasn't for these people.
