The couple on the left of your screen was married 40 years ago today in Houston, Texas. A lot of people thought they were crazy. They had only know each other since just before Thanksgiving (U.S.) and didn't have their first date until the 4th of December but they both knew the other was the one they had been waiting for.
The bride's sister and best friend both said you cann't marry him you don't know him and he's been married before, etc, etc.
Well, the couple on the right of the screen proved them and all the other naysayers wrong and to date the marriage has lasted forty years. They raised four beautiful children and now have five grandchildren of their own and seven grandchild from the groom's first marriage.
