So, it turns out that youngest son has a bike, eldest son has a bike (and stabilizers are now off and he can ride with only a little wobble) and hubby has a bike (in fact he used to commute with it).
I was the only one bikeless.
Until now.
No idea of the specs, except it has 18 gears of which I can find 2. But it's a lovely purple...
