This was taken around 4:30 in the morning. Sun coming up. Early summer of '83. Just got back from, well I'm not telling. Had a good time though. I remember noticing alot of police hanging around the block across the way. Figured it was nowt to do with me so went in the lift. Wasn't until later that our Paul told me that there had been a murder. Kid called Gary Pinder had been stabbed to death over some stupid argument. I'd known Gary when I was younger, but we had lost contact years ago. You know how it is when your young? People come in & out of your life like diners in a busy restaurant. I was quite upset about it. Not all memories are happy are they?
