That's the tip of my little finger, resting next to the most incredibly teensy spider, in red no less. I spotted him in my bathroom, crawling across the floor. At first, I thought he was a speck of dust. Then I noticed that his movements weren't very dust-like. I encouraged him to climb onto a piece of paper, then escorted him outside where he could find food and water and maybe even a girlfriend. If I see a bunch of these little critters this spring, I'll know I done good. UPDATE: I found out it's actually a mite. Either a spider mite or a whirligig mite. But, it's still an arachnid :-)
