This is a male mosquito I rescued from my bathroom because he was starving to death. I set him outside on a flower where he could get a drink of water and nectar. That's all they eat. They don't bite or drink blood. Only the females do that, and only when they are ready to lay eggs. The males are identified by their fluffy antennae. The fluff helps them hear the females when it's mating time.
