The mountain chickadee looks nearly the same but has a white stripe above its eye. The boreal chickadee is found in Canada, and the chestnut backed chickadee is found only only along the Pacific Ocean coastline, from California to Alaska. Lastly, there's the Mexican chickadee that, in the USA, is found only in the mountains of Arizona and New Mexico. |
